We know going to the dentist may not be your favourite appointment of the week, but here at Dental @ 105 we aim to make the experience as pleasant and friendly as possible. To keep a healthy mouth, regular dental check –ups are essential. Research has shown that if you visit a dentist regularly it works out to be a lot cheaper than waiting for a problem before attending. Early diagnosis by an expert can get rid of the problem before it becomes one! We promote prevention as the best cure and are happy to spend time talking to you about how you can help us look after your teeth at home.
We realize cost is an important consideration. To display a fee list would contravene the commerce act, but we will always let you know estimated costs of the treatment.

All the instruments we use are sterilized by heat and pressure in a modern autoclave. Everything else is single-use and disposable for your protection. All surfaces are wiped with antibacterial and antiviral disinfectants between patients.

| My name is Gunilla and I am excited to be the latest addition to the team at Dental@105. I am a Dental Surgeon originally from Sweden, with a Master of Dental Surgery and a Master of Odontology from Malmo University. In 2015, after having spent the last ten years living in Sweden with my Kiwi husband, we decided to make the big move and settle down in beautiful Hawke's Bay where he grew up. I have always wanted to make a positive change in people's lives, and dentistry is definitely a good place to start. I know that sitting in the dental chair is not a very exciting experience for most. My job is to ensure that you know and feel like you are in total control and actively involved with treatment decisions. With a positive, encouraging, gentle and caring approach, I am enthusiastic about providing high quality treatment to my patients in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Outside of work, I am making the most of the New Zealand lifestyle and I enjoy golf, skiing, exploring new parts of New Zealand and of course the famous kiwi barbecues. |
